I bought the OPI black

I bought the OPI black shatter and about a month later it had dried up in the bottle. :(

i really like the shatters in

i really like the shatters in the actually opi collection they works so well. i have the black, silver, pink, blue and purple shatter and they all work amazing!! you have to first put a nail colour, let it dry for about 2 minutes, or until dry to the touch, and then a medium thick coat of the shatter on. you cannot keep putting layers of the shatter on or go over it or it wont work. just put it on in a few quick strokes and you are good. in you want thin shatters, then put a thin layer of shatter. if you want thick shattersa, put and thicker (but not a super thick) coay of shatter on. top it of with a top coat and youre done!! great work opi.

What are some good lacquer

What are some good lacquer colours to put under the turqoise and blue shatter polishes?

a silver or black always

a silver or black always looks good under any colour of shatter. green also looks good under the turquoise or blue shatter or a dark purple or pink.

I have used the gold and

I have used the gold and silver on basecoats of different brands of reds and oranges for Halloween and the holidays. Got loads of comments. They turned out really pretty. The trick is to make sure your base color has dried for a couple of minutes, then apply the texture. Don't be heavy handed with the texture. Love the look!!!!!

I LOVE nicole by opi im so

I LOVE nicole by opi im so happy i tried them in the store first because it didnt work well the black one did but the silver one didnt i found that the silver one wasntvas thick as the black one. it depends where ur at!!! the

it depends where ur at!!! the temperature of your location affects how much the texture coat will crackle. for example if youre outside during the summer it'll crackle more than inside your house with the AC on. maybe using the blow dryer will help

This looks so awesome! I

This looks so awesome! I think u have to use the opi base tho cuz me friend Nicole was telling me our friend Riley tried it without the opi base and she put it on rlly thin but it only crackled a little... So everyone should try using the opi base with crackle

I bought the Silver one. I

I bought the Silver one. I tried it on Revlon black nail polish and it didn't work. I tried again today on some dark blue OPI nail polish. Still didn't work. It's just glittery. Very dissapointed.

You can't overlap and do

You can't overlap and do multiple layers. The same thing happened when i tried to do that but then i fured out that if you dont layer, it works.

I bought both the silver and

I bought both the silver and the gold texture and it didn't crackle at all. Does it only work if you use an opi base? You wouldn't think it matters. I bought a black crackle from a different company and it crackles on anything.

It gives you directions above

It gives you directions above that will help you achieve the best turn out with your nails. I know one big thing, is that it's important to let both coats of nail polish (before you brush on the texture) both to COMPLETELY DRY before. Also, make sure to put a couple of top clear coats & let dry completely also. It really makes a BIG difference. Keep trying, because I've never had any problems with this or any other brands like crackle, cracked,... & of course Texture / Nicole by OPI. And there's so many designs you can do!

not out the texture coat on too thickly it wont work just one thin layer is all it takes.

Maybe you pressed on it too

Maybe you pressed on it too hard or you put too much on. Remeber that you always have to put a tiny bit on your nail to see if you like how it is if you dont put mor on.. Hope this helped!

red doesn't show up on black

red doesn't show up on black lacquer... highly disappointed

You have to put the texture

You have to put the texture coat on thicker than you would normally put on nail polish.

I love the color of the gold,

I love the color of the gold, it shows up really well on dark colors. I mixed it with the blue from the miss universe collection from opi and it looked amazing. I wish it cracked more, but I like that the color is really bright. The red texture is AMAZING! Cracks great and looks great.
